On Monday 26th August our GMB Workplace representative Neil, held another recruitment day at Asda in Kettering in the canteen
The theme this time was a beach theme. This entailed members wanting to put in 50p each on a beach grid chart to get three ‘beach related gift cards’. Neil kept it secret during the draw - what they were, through the use of a bingo machine. In the end it was £15 Waterstones, £15 boots and a months worth of Spotify music.
Neil also had a member, who makes professional cakes do some samples on the day, and colleagues can contact her if they like them.
Neil also dressed in beach attire for the occasion as you can see in the pictures.
This was another successful event organised by Neil with 4 new members joining and as usual more member participation and awareness of the Asda Equal pay claim.
