In the past week, GMB members have been targeted because of their race, faith or because of the work that they do. It is totally unacceptable, and they deserve the full support of everyone across our union.
As GMB representatives, we are each committed to ensuring that people are kept safe and that their dignity at work is respected at all times.
But we also understand how difficult it can be for workplace leaders like you to support our members in what can be extremely stressful and upsetting circumstances.

We have also produced a No Place for Racism Toolkit, which helps to explain what the role of a GMB representative is in championing and defending the right of all workers, regardless of their backgrounds, to be treated fairly in safe working environments.
