Summary Minutes of the Branch Meeting held on 25th April 2024
- Special guest, Lee Barron, Corby and East Northants Prospective Parliamentary Candidate.
- Lee gave an excellent presentation to the branch and raised the importance of keeping a high profile going into the next General Election (GE). He advised members about the issues he is being confronted with on the doorstep and that he was being very well received and that things are hopeful for an election victory. Lee was wished the best for the GE.

Presidents Report
President attended Regional Council. There was a presentation from Amazon, Coventry which was excellent. Jackie to report on that at next month’s meeting.
Jackie has registered for a webinar on flexible working hours which she will report on at our next meeting in May.

- Website activity (GA4) for last 30 days: we had 223 (+39) website visits (sessions) by 168 (+16) people (users)

- WhatsApp Group has 39 (+1) members
- The April email newsletter was sent out on Friday 19th April to 1,613 members (March members list) and has been opened by 717 members, a 47.3% opening rate

Recent survey. Report to be prepared for the branch newsletter. Agreed.

- Matalan report. TUPE of transport at the site. Update on consultation.
- Pay rise @ 5 and 6%.

- Grand Union Housing – Ballot on new terms and conditions.
- ASDA, balloting in Corby, Kettering. Thanks to all the Reps for all their hard work.

- Neil reported on ballot for industrial action which unfortunately fell short of the 51% legal requirement.
