Please find below details regarding the TUC LGBT+ Conference which will be a virtual, online event this year, with no delegate system, and is open to LGBT+ trade unionists and allies.

Course Title: Mental Health Awareness Dates: 12th & 13th June 2018 Location: Regional Office- Nottingham This course focuses on why it is important to raise awareness of mental health issues and how people with mental health issues are discriminated against. It will also cover aspects of disability discrimination Law and the role that GMB Workplace Representatives can play in building a supportive workplace. The Conference will cover various topics which impact women both within the workplace and the home. The conference aims to inspire and empower women and offers them an opportunity to get to know other GMB members. Find out more information and register here ![]() GMB YOUNG MEMBERS SUMMIT - SUNDAY 12TH AND MONDAY 13TH NOVEMBER 2016, HOSTED BY BIRMINGHAM AND WEST MIDLANDS REGION - CALL FOR DELEGATES The GMB Young Members Summit will take place on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th of November 2016. The Summit will take place at The Studio, 7 Cannon Street, Birmingham B2 5EP and will provide delegates with the opportunity to attend training workshops, hear from GMB Young Members Representatives and hear from a number of external speakers. Accommodation for Saturday 12th November has been reserved at the Premier Inn, Waterloo Street, Birmingham but we will need to know if you: · have a special dietary requirement · require a room with disabled access If you are interested in attending the Summit, then please email adele.rice@gmb.org.uk no later Monday 3rd October 2016.
