 The Women participants of this year's GRASP Programme are hosting a Zoom event to mark International Women's Day on 11th March at 7.30pm.
The event is open to members and non-members with this year's theme being #InspireInclusion.

 The next meeting of the GMB Northants Community Branch will be held on Thursday 29th February 2024 at 7.00pm on Zoom The Zoom meeting link will be on our WhatsApp Group, the monthly email newsletter and available on request from our Branch Secretary.
ALL GMB Northants branch members are invited to join the meeting  Taking place annually on the first Saturday in July, it’s a family friendly event bringing alive memories of the past whilst inspiring visions for the future through street theatre, re-enactments, live metalworking, political stalls and speeches, music, children’s activities and entertainment.

 The Mary Macarthur Lecture is an opportunity for leading women to outline the challenges they see facing women in the world of work and wider society today and how we respond to these challenges to deliver a fairer, more equal and progressive future.

Below is a copy of his speech for those who were unable to attend: Can I again first off thank Corby Town Council for inviting the GMB to this very important annual event. Many trade unions commemorate Holocaust Memorial Day (HMD), remembering the millions affected by the Nazi persecution and of other groups and subsequent genocides – including trade unionists who were targeted by the Nazis. It is annual opportunity for trade unionists to continue to do their part to create a safer, better future by learning the lessons of the past.
 GMB is here to support our members through the very personal experience of pregnancy loss and advocate for workplace support. Your input is vital in shaping this the GMB Pregnancy Loss Charter to serve our members and their families better.
