 GMB YOUNG MEMBERS SUMMIT - SUNDAY 12TH AND MONDAY 13TH NOVEMBER 2016, HOSTED BY BIRMINGHAM AND WEST MIDLANDS REGION - CALL FOR DELEGATES The GMB Young Members Summit will take place on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th of November 2016. The Summit will take place at The Studio, 7 Cannon Street, Birmingham B2 5EP and will provide delegates with the opportunity to attend training workshops, hear from GMB Young Members Representatives and hear from a number of external speakers. Accommodation for Saturday 12th November has been reserved at the Premier Inn, Waterloo Street, Birmingham but we will need to know if you: · have a special dietary requirement · require a room with disabled access If you are interested in attending the Summit, then please email [email protected] no later Monday 3rd October 2016. Only six delegates from each region may attend the Summit so if you would like to attend please respond quickly. Further information will follow to successful delegates in due course. 
 Free online TUC Employment Rights guide - ‘Working in the UK - a guide to your rights’ – New languages available The TUC’s ‘Working in the UK - a guide to your rights’ is now available in four additional languages, Arabic, Hindi, Mandarin and Tagalog. This online resource is available in 21 languages altogether and contains information on subjects such as minimum wages, health and safety and how to join a union.
