Rule 56 Fatal Accident Benefit The Finance and General Purposes Committee has agreed to update the guidelines that accompany Rule 56. The guidelines do not constitute a rule and have not been updated for many years.  GMB Northants ASDA Workplace Reps Neil and lan recently held a recruitment day at Asda in Kettering. The day was very successful with a number of new members being recruited and an excellent informative display was put on by Neil and Ian. They did order some special cup cakes, but sadly they didn't arrive in time.
 GMB Congress this year was held in Brighton, the sun shone it was warm as was the atmosphere inside the hall.
In the foyer as you entered the building a range of stalls from , specialist books, Amazon, Waspi , Credit Union, support for Cuba, Bladder cancer to name a few and of course the Equality one ! Highlights over the days included representatives from the Amazon workforce at Coventry who gave a moving speech on their fight for recognition.( and a standing ovation) The National Secretary supported the Amazon workers and said he won’t rest until Amazon is recognised. |
