 We are very keen to encourage branch members to attend our branch meetings, which are held on the last Thursday of the month. The meetings are informal and held online using the Zoom platform, we are a branch of 2,500 plus members and generally only see up to 10 members attend our meetings.

 Message from Jill Robertson, Area Co-ordinator, WASPI Northamptonshire: As you are all probably aware on March 21st, the long awaited Stages 2 and 3 of the PHSO Report was published. While the PHSO agreed that DWP maladministration was carried out by the work and pensions department, and they agreed there were injustices that needed compensating, the Government are to take on the next action.
 The next meeting of the GMB Northants Community Branch will be held on Thursday 28th March 2024 at 7.00pm on Zoom The Zoom meeting link will be on our WhatsApp Group, the monthly email newsletter and available on request from our Branch Secretary.

 On the 15th of February, Lorraine and Neil, GMB Workplace Reps, did another recruitment day at Asda Kettering where they managed to get more members to join the GMB Union.
The event was called 'Valentines Squares' because Neil made up a grid chart of 50 squares and 3 prizes were hidden within them. One was a chocolate hamper, one a £15 Odeon cinema gift card, and lastly a meal gift card. |
