GMB Northants was holding its meetings in Corby Northampton, but has been using the Zoom Video Meetings software for both branch and informal catch-up meetings in 2020.
This presents a chance for branch members who couldn't get to Corby to attend meetings without having to travel.
The branch has 2500 members, however attendance at meetings has been around a dozen or so people, so it would be good to see some new faces. There is no expectation on attendees to speak, you are welcome to just observe if you wish and we are a friendly group

We have been arranging for speakers to attend our catch up meetings and have had presentations from Cuba Solidarity Campaign, Justice for Colombia and in November Hope Not Hate.
For each meeting a Zoom meeting link is shared on our WhatsApp Group and by email, you can also request the link from the branch secretary here. Zoom can be used on a laptop, tablet or smart phone and you don't need an account with them. You may find it easier if you install the Zoom App on your mobile or tablet and a small programme will be installed on your laptop when you click the link.
