The importance of the local elections for GMB members

Thursday 1st April at 7PM, GMB Midland & East Coast are hosting an online discussion (on Zoom and Facebook) on the importance of the local elections for GMB members.

This will be a great opportunity to hear from GMB campaigners about why May’s elections matter to trade unionists. We’ll be joined by striking British Gas workers, Lord Vernon Coaker and others. We’ll also be showing attendees how to use the Party’s Dialogue system, allowing you to campaign from the comfort of your own home.

February 2021 catch up Meeting

We are holding an informal catch up meeting for all members of the GMB Northants Community Branch on Wednesday the 10th February 2021 at 7pm on Zoom. We will be joined by and hear from Liron Velleman from Hope not Hate and he would like to speak about the persecution of the Uyghur people in China

Save Northants Services Rally 1st August 2018

Save Northants Services has called for a protest from 4.30 at the emergency county council meeting being held next Wednesday 1st August at 5.30. This emergency meeting has been called to agree another £60 to £70 million of further cuts to services this year. This is really serious stuff as statutory services will now be cut to the bone and non-statutory services will decimated.

Corby Workers Memorial Day Event 2017

This years event in Corby to mark Workers Memorial Day (WMD) will be on Saturday the 29th April 2017 at 11am

Each year GMB Northants hosts the event at The Cube in Corby, outside by the statue if weather permits.

The event starts at 11am and we will have a band playing followed by speakers and a presentation, followed by a small buffet
