Why should GMB Midlands reps know what the myths and realities are around this subject? How can we make work better for neurodivergent workers?  To mark world menopause and to highlight the debilitating impact this can have on our members in the workplace, GMB Midlands are hosting a one day training session on 18th October 2023.
 GFTU is hosting two Young Members' Development Weekends this year. The first one will take place at Quorn Grange Hotel from 19th to 21st May and is targeted at young members who are more experienced and active in the union and those who want to connect with other young members from different unions.
 We know from previous TUC research that:
Safety reps are the most powerful union rep role, but we know they’re not yet representative of our wider membership. We also know women and Black workers often face more risk at work.  GMB Midlands have places available for the GMB Health & Safety Stage 2 course at the GMB Halesowen Office on the following dates:
April 20/27 May 4/11/18/25 June 8/15/22/29  GMB Education have places available for the GMB 5 Day Equality Course taking place at the GMB Leicester Office on the following dates:

It will be an excellent event with a buffet lunch provided so please sign up and encourage any of your members, friends or activists to come along too.
