Congress 2024 agreed an increase of 7p per week on Grade 1 and 2p a week on Grade 2 contribution rates Full details of contribution increases are here These increases take effect from 1 October 2024 and will be shown in Rule 45 of the updated Rule Book which should be available on the National website On Monday 26th August our GMB Workplace representative Neil, held another recruitment day at Asda in Kettering in the canteen
The next meeting of the GMB Midlands Regional Retired Members Association, taking place on Thursday 12th September 2024 at 11am. The meeting will be held at GMB Union office, Garth Street, Stoke-On-Trent ST1 2AB.

GMB are now seeking applications for delegates/visitors to the 2025 TUC equality conferences, along with nominations for the TUC committees and encourage branches to submit motions. This is an exciting development opportunity for more members to learn about equality in our workplace and movements – and to build the diversity and strength of the union This week marks one year on from Wilko’s collapse into administration.
