Questions had been raised by about the distribution of meeting summaries on the branch website, that details of branch meetings should be open to members only. The taxi that we sponsor is off the road after an accident. It is unclear whether the owner of the cab is going to continue. The sponsorship is due again in January. It was agreed that we continue with it either with the same owner or someone else. There are plenty to choose from.
The secretary had been to a meeting which had been addressed by a volunteer from the Corby Red Box project which helps mainly girls and young women who are experiencing period poverty. It was agreed to make a donation. There is also a Kettering Red Box project. We will give them the same once we have their details. If anyone knows of other, similar, projects in the county they should contact the secretary.
Finances remain healthy.
