On Monday 17th July at 11:00, the GMB will be gathering at Northamptonshire County Council One Angel Square Angel Street Northampton NN1 1ED to launch our campaign. We do hope you can join us. The more people who attend, the more attention that we can draw to the appalling situation at Northamptonshire County Council.
The council’s employees have been badly let down along with the wider community by both the incompetent leadership of the council and by a government who has stopped properly funding local authorities.
The GMB Union is here to stand alongside staff during the difficult period and we are calling on the government to immediately step in to save jobs and protect vital services before the administrators arrive and put up the ‘For Sale’ boards.
