Corby Trades Council once played a key role in the area's industrial relations and it would be good to connect with trade unionists to support their campaigns again.
In recent weeks Corby CLP have been in touch with Lee Barron, TUC's Regional Secretary, and agreed to hold a re-launch meeting of the Corby Trades Council, the details are below:

Date: Monday, 4th July 2022 at 7pm
Venue: Corby Ex-Servicemen's Club, Lloyds Road, Corby. NN17 1AP
Lee Barron, TUC's Regional Secretary will be at a meeting to talk through ideas - all trade unionists are invited
At this stage the aim is to 'test the water' to see if this is something that would be supported by trade unionists.
While Corby's CLP are fully supporting the idea this meeting is open to all trade unionists - Labour Party membership is not a requirement.
It would be useful to for the organisers to have an idea of numbers prior to the meeting and to know who would like to be kept up to date with the plans - please contact Ann Wallington by email
