Further to a decision of the CEC Appeals Committee held on 30 September 2019, a ballot for the election of GMB Union General Secretary & Treasurer will now be held.
The two candidates will be Timothy John Roache, and Kathleen Walker-Shaw.
Members are invited to a hustings in accordance with by-law 21 of the Election of General Secretary & Treasurer 2019. This will take place, as detailed below:

Tea/Coffee will be available at registration from 12.00 noon, followed by hustings at 1.30 pm

The ballot for this election will be held between 24 October and 13 November, by a postal vote to all eligible GMB members.
The hustings will be a great chance for you to hear the candidates and ask your questions regarding their views on where the Union is going under the direction and leadership of the newly elected GMB General Secretary & Treasurer.
