There will be a special branch meeting on Wednesday, 21st August at 7.00pm in the Ex-Servicemens club, Lloyds Road, Corby, NN17 1AP to discuss nominations and motions to be put forward to National Equality Motions Conference in November 2019
This is a special meeting because: instead of regional equality conferences putting motions forward to a national equality conference there will be a national motions conference which will decide what motions go forward.

The region will be able to send 6 delegates to this conference. The branch will be able to nominate delegates. We will also be able to put forward motions.
All nominations and motions will have to be returned by September 4th, which is why we are holding this branch meeting on 21st August 2019
If you can't come to the meeting but wish to be nominated as a delegate please let me know. Make sure that, if you are elected, you will be able to attend the motions conference which will be an all day meeting in Leeds on Saturday, 23rd November. if you wish to be a delegate you should fit one of the following strands: Black and Ethnic Minority, Migrant Worker, Disabled, LGBT+, Women, Youth (under 30), Retired Member.
