The election for branch officers will take place in June. Nominations will be taken at the three previous meetings. The secretary is not standing again. The negotiations with the west are being dominated by the same tory councillors who wrecked the county council so things aren’t looking quite so good there.
The region will be holding a celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8th. A link will go on the website.
With the voting for the new unitary authorities coming up on May 6th we should make sure that a many of our members as possible should be registering for a postal vote especially as there might be problems with polling stations given the present circumstances.
