Below are the Summary Minutes of the meeting for information

Summary of the branch meeting held on 26.02.2020
All foodbanks that we sponsor are still operating. It was agreed to increase the quarterly amount to £60.
It was agreed to make a donation to Oakley Rangers who work with young people in Corby
Preparations are progressing for Workers Memorial Day, nothing finalised as yet. Talks are going ahead with the Deep Roots Tall Trees choir. A police officer with the Notts anti-slavery unit had spoken at the Regional Equality conference in 2018 and had been very good. The secretary will try and contact him.
The financial situation remains healthy
Social Media: The branch newsletter had been sent out the newsletter on Sunday. It had 32% openings which is good especially considering the timescale. Website and social media viewings were down slightly. Normal for this time of year.
Any Other Business:
Rachelle made a report.
One of our members in the south of the county had an accident and had been off work for some time and was experiencing financial difficulties. It was agreed to help him out with a donation.
Rachelle had spent a lot of time going to ASDA stores informing members of the ongoing equal pay claim. Time left to make the claim was short. There is a possibility that a private equity firm was going to take a part share in ASDA which is unlikely to be good news for our members.
There is going to be a recruitment drive in the education sector. The secretary had given her some freebies to hand out.
We are refusing to sign an agreement with the new unitary authority until we have more info. We think the Tories are trying to stitch us up.
