The branch finances remain healthy
Social Media Report: Newsletter openings were up at 35%. Website and social media activity remained unchanged.
Members continue to be represented under difficult circumstances
The change to unitary wasn’t going great. Rachelle is dealing with TUPE transfers although this isn’t affecting our members in schools. Direct employees may have their pay dates changed and there is a move to going over to on line payslips. Which cause major problems for some of our members who aren’t computer savvy and may not be able to access their payslips. The new north authority will be adopting the Dying to Work scheme. Maggie said that it had been agreed that there would be no mayor for the new authority. April 1st is set to be the change day to the new authorities.
